Room and Hall Hire Charges
From 1st July 2025 the rates for room and hall hire are as follows: Church and Main Hall: $36.00 per hour (Full day $288) Wesley Hall, Friendship Room & Meals Room: $25.00 p/h (Full day $200) Users and Hirers providing child or young people related events need to pay particular attention to the following clause in the Agreement: Child Safety Requirements If the hirer provides services, programs, or activities involving children or young people, the hirer must: (a) ensure that all staff, contractors, and volunteers involved in delivering such programs hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) as required by NSW law; (b) maintain an appropriate child safety policy or code of conduct; (c) have in place a clear process for responding to child safety concerns or incidents, including mandatory reporting procedures; (d) agree to review and confirm compliance with these requirements on an annual basis or upon request by the Church Council; (e) demonstrate a commitment to ongoing improvement as a child safe organisation, including taking steps to strengthen their culture, practices, and awareness over time; and (f) promptly notify the Church Council of any child safety-related incidents, complaints, or investigations that occur during their use of the premises. This clause applies to all hirers whose activities involve, or may reasonably involve, the participation or presence of children or young people. The Church Council does not take responsibility for ensuring compliance with these obligations, but reserves the right to request evidence that appropriate child safety practices are in place. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence of compliance or commitment to child safety will result in the hirer not being approved or reapproved for use of the premises. The Church Council also reserves the right to suspend or terminate the agreement if serious concerns arise. |

Main Hall
The hall is of medium size and has a stage, a concert pitch, upright piano and well equipped kitchen. It will seat 120 comfortably, is air conditioned, has good acoustics, and is suitable for concerts, meetings, training sessions, wedding receptions, conferences and retreats and has ample off street parking and toilets. A large screen television is available for audio visual presentations and internet access is also available. This Hall is available at $34 per hour.

The original 1884 Wesleyan Church, which has been relocated and refurbished, and is now known as “Wesley Hall.” It is air conditioned, has good acoustics, a kitchenette, audiovisual facilities, internet access and is available for smaller groups for meetings, concerts, training events, exercise classes, etc. Wesley Hall is available at $23 per hour.

The meeting room is carpeted and air conditioned and suitable for board or committee meetings and small training events. It has internet access, a large television for displaying PowerPoints and videos and a webcam for livestreaming via Zoom etc.
It is also the home of the Berry Community Library. This room is available at $24 per hour.

The church, which was built as Methodist Church in 1932, is welcoming and popular for weddings. It is air conditioned and will seat up to 120 people. It is equipped with a fine organ and grand piano, audiovisual equipment (large screen television, sound system), web cam for livestreaming via Zoom etc. and internet access. The Church is available at $34 per hour.

Meals Room
The Berry Uniting Church "Meals Room" is now available for hire. It is a great room for small board and committee meetings, training workshops, and craft work. It seats 18 comfortably around the tables with extra seating around the walls. This room is available at $24 per hour.
